Other Possibilities… You may want to be closer to the Belgian way of life, and stay in a Bed and Breakfast. Bruges is a small city, and many rooms are available within walking distance of the symposium venue. The official website for B&B in Bruges is: http://www.brugge-bedandbreakfast.com/. Information on B&Bs are available in English, and this site offers the advantage of giving the distance of each B&B from Market Square, which is just near the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The prices are also generally lower than in the 3 and 4 star hotels in the city center. Additional rooms may be found on the following website: http://www.guesthouses.be/Brugge/. In particular, the Hotel Cordoeanier (www.hotelcordoeanier.com) is a family run hotel just off Market Squre, and is a very reasonably priced 2-star hotel. |
