The major focus of our research is to investigate new mechanisms of eosinophils activation and their relevance in eosinophilic disorders. Our mayor research projects involves studies about i) purinergic receptors and their roles in eosinophilic inflammation ii) characterization of the inflammasome proteins in eosinophils and iii) mechanisms which trigger DNA extracellular traps release by leukocytes.
