Eosinophils as ART!

Submit your eosinophil artwork today!

Submission deadline: 11 June 2023

The eosinophil is certainly one of the most beautiful cells in the human body, but online images are often poor or dark.  Are there any artists among us that have created beautiful artwork using this cell?

We are asking for histologists and artists to submit their most beautiful 2D images of this eponymous cell. Images will be displayed during the 12th Biennial Symposium of the IES in Hamilton, ON, Canada from 11-15 July 2023. Meeting attendees will vote for their favorite artwork submission and a winner will be announced during the Awards Dinner on Friday, 14 July.

Submission Instructions

Submit original artwork in JPEG or TIFF format using the online submission form by 11 June 2023.

Please bring a printed image for display to the Symposium. The maximum size allowed is 18in x 24in (45cm x 60cm) and should be mounted for easy display.

Images must be original artwork and cannot be subject to copyright protection.
